This blog will show images from my summer trip to India. I stayed two months there, first going to shoot images of Widows in Vrindavan .widowsofvrindavan.blogspot.com/.
Then I headed toward Rajasthan, a place I already visited twice before.
Window. Mandawa. Rajasthan
In the Shekawati region of Rajasthan you find plenty of old painted Havelis. Too bad that most of them are nowadays inhabited. This Haveli is the property of people from Mumbay and the woman at the window is the caretaker of the Goenka Double Haveli in Mandawa, a quiet place.
